Most people today are aware of the need to recycle. So the loopweaving™ team has been working on a section we call Loopweaving™ “Green”.
One of the fun ways to recycle or find new value is with leftover yarn. The most frequently asked question we get here at our site is “What can I do with all my left-over yarn?” If you crochet or knit you definitely have left-over yarn, probably a lot of it.
We’ve come up with a couple of loopweaving™ ideas that we think you’ll enjoy trying with your stash of left-over yarn.
Yarn Baskets of many-colors
Fun and easy, you will be able to craft beautiful multi-colored yarn baskets and soft-pots of almost any size (as long as you have the yarn) with a simple technique. We will show you how to blend your various left-over yarns into a seamless pattern of many colors.
Miniatures
Miniature soft pots (yarn containers) are a fun way to use left-over yarn. And none take very long to make so these are perfect projects when you only have a little time for crafting.
Miniature Baskets
Miniature Baskets take very little yarn to make & can be used for many things (ring holders, business card holders, key holders and so on).
Miniature vases
Miniature vases are even tinier versions of the cute little “soft pot expressions series”. They are easy to make. Fun and fast. A perfect little gift with some artificial flowers inside. Here’s the basic pattern for the ones shown in the photos.
