About Us
There are three of us, sisters that is. Each of us has a strong creative personality and we really enjoying working together starting www.loopweaving.com We lived in the small & friendly community of Newberg, Oregon located on the West Coast of the United States of America. One of us lives in the town of Newberg. Two of us lived on top of the Chehalem hills not far from Newberg. (12 minutes driving time) The view from Mountain Top Road is tremendous. From one direction you can see the lights from the city of Portland. From another direction the view looks over the valley of Newberg. It is so beautiful.The blending of our thoughts and ideas worked well for beginning the website. The eldest sister is more analytical, the youngest is extremely computer tech savvy and I (the one in the middle) have the distinction of being “The Loopweaver”. Sadly for us almost 4 years ago there were several personal family tragedies that occurred. Our website and sat still and silent up until now.
It's time to once again move forward and renew our loopweaving friends and expand the awareness and knowledge of the wonderful yarn craft of Loopweaving.
We also want to create as many new world wide friends as possible. We women aren’t really so different from each other and the more we can interact and become acquainted with others from far away places the better the planet will be for it. Our mission is to help women everywhere create beautiful craft items for home, gift giving and/or to sell as useful products.Thank you again for being understanding and caring during these past few years.
